The conservative club is a long way out of town and very near to where Cowley Rd intersects with the ring road.

I order to get to it you trave up Cowley Rd, past the centre of Cowley, past the Bingo Hall, past Majestic wines, past the turnoff to Morris Motors and past the Q8 petrol station on your right.

After passing all of these and travelling a couple of miles out of the town centre, you will reach a set of traffic lights which are a couple of hundred yards past the Q8 garage. There should be a pub called the Swan ahead of you and on your right.

The junction which you are now at is the one between Oxford Rd (what Cowley Rd has turned into) and 'Between Towns Rd' as shown on the map below. Turn right at that junction and there will be a sign for the conservative club about 50m down and on your left.

By bus, take No. 1 or 5 from Carfax or the High Street, get off at the Swan pub.
